In-House Counsel

Responsibilities:Drafting and review of Contracts, such as MSAs, SLAs, NDAs, Collocation Agreements, Licensing Agreements, Interconnect Agreements, Spectrum Lease Agreements, Broadband Service Agreements etc. with minimum supervisionNegotiation of Telecommunications and Technology ContractsMonitoring and advising on compliance with business laws, regulations and corporate policies Advanced legal research and writing Drafting of legal opinions and memorandumsCorporate governance and compliance evaluationCorporate representation during litigationLiaising with company secretaries and external solicitorsCollaboration with cross-functional teams in corporate organizationsRequirements:Are a Nigerian Law School graduate, with a minimum of Second Class (upper) possess at least 3 years of post-call experience in corporate law and related transactionsShould have the certifications LL. B, B.LMinimum of 3 years' experience working as an in-house counsel at a company or at a Law FirmMust be computer literate in all Microsoft Office suites.Knowledgeable or experienced in Nigerian Telecommunications law and Policies Knowledge in Data Privacy Regulations Knowledge in NCC Regulations and DirectivesMust possess strong negotiation skillsThe ability to think critically and solve complex problems efficiently and practicallyExcellent communication skills, including the ability to interact with staff and clients at various levels nationally and internationally Ability to multi-task and prioritizeExcellent time management skills
