Junior Architect

Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in developing architectural designs, drawings, and specifications under the guidance of senior architects.Collaborate with project teams to conduct site visits, surveys, and research.Prepare and present design proposals using 2D and 3D modeling software.Assist in producing construction documents and detailed drawings.Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.Participate in meetings with clients to understand project objectives and provide design solutions.Support project managers in monitoring project progress and adhering to timelines.Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations to ensure compliance in design projects.Contribute creative ideas and innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.Assist in reviewing project specifications, contracts, and cost estimates.Qualifications:Minimum of BSc/HND in architecture or a related field.1 - 2 years' previous experience or internships in an architectural firm or related field is preferred.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design software.Strong understanding of architectural principles, building materials, and construction techniques.Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges, with a proactive and positive attitude.
