Kitchen Assistant

Responsibilities:Assist chefs and cooks in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.Follow recipes and portion sizes accurately to maintain consistency in food quality.Keep kitchen areas clean and sanitized, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly to ensure availability for ongoing food preparation.Stock and organize kitchen inventory, including ingredients, supplies, and equipment.Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper handling and rotation of perishable items.Support the kitchen team in any other tasks as required to maintain smooth operations.Requirements:This position is open preferably to a Male candidatePrevious experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.A passion for food and a willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.Location:Port Harcourt (GRA)How to Apply:If you are enthusiastic about food and eager to kick-start your career in the culinary industry, we would love to hear from you!
