Responsibilities:Operate machinery such as Panel, Edge banding, Beam saw, and CNC machines to fabricate furniture components according to specifications.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations, dimensions, and tolerances.Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and optimal performance.Monitor machine operations during production to detect any deviations from specifications and make necessary adjustments.Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards.Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed to minimize downtime.Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.Collaborate with other team members, such as designers, engineers, and production staff, to optimize manufacturing processes and resolve technical issues.Keep accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, maintenance tasks, and inventory levels.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in machining or related field preferred.Minimum of 3 years experience as a machinist in furniture or woodworking industry.Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles and techniques.Ability to operate a variety of machine tools and equipment, including CNC machines.Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with tight tolerances.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
