Job Description
Personal Assistant to a Partner at a leading commercial law firm in Lagos. The Personal Assistant’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, providing superior administrative support when performing the following duties:
Managing the Partner’s calendar;
Proactively preparing correspondence in accordance with Firm standards;
Preparing electronic and hardcopy presentations and proposals and complete various other ad hoc projects;
Preparing expense reports, timesheets and related documentation;
Maintaining documents and controlling access to internal databases;
Researching, collecting, organising and distributing information for internal and external meetings;
Taking and transcribing minutes of internal and external meetings;
Coordinating executive seminars, meetings, business hospitality/entertainment and travel arrangements;
Liaising with organizations and overseas clients in responding to routine enquiries;
Maintaining and updating client database, contact information and key dates;
Filing, indexing, and cross-referencing correspondence and files (electronic and hard copy).
JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
Master’s Degree (Preferred)
Relevant professional certifications or completion of a recognised secretarial program (Optional)
Experience
Minimum of 7 (seven) years’ work experience (Required)
Experience working with senior level executives or partners in a law firm or large company setting (Preferred)
