Procurement/Supply Chain Manager | Middle ? Senior, 8 Years Experience

Requirements:To ensure the design and implementation of effective controls and efficiency of the procurement process through cost effective and timely delivery of quality raw materials, products and services to support the day to day operations of the business as well as maintenance of inventory from the receipt of goods in stores until the final destination to customer. Also, to ensure the identification of the most cost- effective supply chains across the entire agricultural value chain for cost optimization and sound business performanceResponsibilities:Must maintain clear, timely, and consistent communication with suppliers, vendors, and shipping contacts throughout the procurement lifecycle
- Responsible for proactively engaging suppliers in identifying potential issues
- Liaise with the key company employees to determine the company products and service needs per time
- Ensure a competitive evaluation of multiple vendors for all the company?s required products across the agri-business
- Maintain a vendor database of qualified and price-competitive vendors per time
- Forecast procurement needs and establish lead times for various commodities across the agro-value chain
- Periodically perform vendor evaluation and sensitization exercisesBenefits:Salary
