Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Proven experience (1 year) in production planning, material planning, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.Proven experience in managerial roles.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.Proficiency in using ERP systems (preferably Odoo).Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Production Scheduling:Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.Collaborate with production teams to ensure the timely completion of manufacturing orders.Monitor and analyze production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.Material Planning:Manage inventory levels of raw materials, ensuring availability for production needs.Coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials.Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize excess or obsolete stock.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with the sales, marketing, and procurement teams to gather information on customer demand, market trends, and product forecasts.Communicate production plans and schedules to relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment across departments.Participate in cross-functional meetings to address issues and improve overall efficiency.Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements in production and material planning.We strongly encourage application candidates who are willing and able to live onsite in the factory accommodation in Awka.
