Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Sales Lead. To succeed as our Sales Lead, you must be able to constructively challenge the status quo, be comfortable in ambiguous situations, and be able to envision a path to success that energizes clients. You will lead our market development team, client success team and work closely with our top management team. You will be an experienced self-starter who can leverage existing relationships, develop new trusted relationships, provide important feedback between client requirements and our solutions and dramatically grow our business. Job Description
Develop and deliver on new client and revenue targets.
Engage clients with a consultative approach.
Drive solution concept, design, and vision, and relay that vision to both the client and our organization.
Develop strategies and tactics to engage prospective clients. Identify decision makers and stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
Lead the market development team to continually refine our target account definitions.
Constantly engage in market research and become a trusted internal “voice of the customer” for our product and solutions teams, so that we can continue to evolve our solutions in the most effective and leveraged ways.
Specific Attributes:
5+ years’ experience as a Sales Manager or Business Development Manager within the Logistics or warehousing industry in Nigeria. Additional experience on the client-side is a plus.
Required Attributes:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skill-set. Native-equivalent level of business English (fluent is insufficient for this role)
Flexibility to roll up your sleeves and attack problems and projects as they arise, with or without the support of the other team members
Good numeracy and logical reasoning skills, alongside sound computer skills (well acquainted with MS Office applications and generally tech-savvy)
Possess a high standard of integrity, morals and business ethics
Demonstrated high energy and persistence in the pursuit of objectives - known for a resourceful, entrepreneurial approach to problem solving, a "closer"
Must be results-oriented, someone who conveys a sense of urgency and will continually press for closure and timely accomplishment of objectives
