Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:Ensure proper compliance with all internal policies and protocolsControl payroll and reconcile bank statements. Oversee accounting activities, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and internal control. Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with IFRS and FIRS Verify and ensure all transactions are accurate and in compliance with local and federal government regulations. Ensure strong accounting and operational controls to safeguard the company's assets. Prepare profit and loss accounts and balance sheetsAdvice management on possible compliance and integrity risksPerform month-end reconciliation and financial analysis. Proactively assist with cost control requirementsMonitor and ensure all applicable local taxes are charged and collected without errors.Review vendors' invoices and monthly statements to ensure all expenses are processed in the system.
