Job Details Location: LagosEmployment Type: Full-timeJob ObjectiveThe Front-End Web Developer is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.Role / ResponsibilitiesUse a variety of programming languages in order to create user-friendly web pagesMaintain and improve new and existing applicationsWork in multidisciplinary teams with other professionals such as back-end developers and web designersBuild high-quality mockups and design different prototypesProvide high-quality graphics and visual elementsOptimize our web applications for maximum speedDesign mobile-based featuresAlways stay consistent with our brand guidelinesGet feedback from users and customersMake suggestions for better solutions to problemsKeep abreast of the latest and emerging technologiesAttend training and educations.Job RequirementsExcellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniquesKnowledge of some SEO principlesGood knowledge of markup languagesGood knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and jQueryGood knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like Ember, AngularJS, React, etc., or JS-based build tools like Grunt, Gulp, and BowerFront-end (CSS) frameworks like Foundation or BootstrapKnowledge of graphics software such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop etc.Good knowledge of wireframes design tools such as Adode CC.Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s successCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsTeam playerGood time-management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skills.
