Software Test Engineer_Vois

Role PurposeTo support Vodafone's key strategic growth areas in Testing which requires a highly capable and passionate resources for specialized domains as Digital, IoT and Cloud Transformation.Test Engineers will be required to deliver high quality products to the market in an efficient and productive way, utilizing all the tools at their disposal including test automation tools; perform and execute testing services as per the agreed strategy and test plan through innovative and efficient practices.Roles and Responsibilities•    Review and analyze customer business requirements.•    Ability to translate product requirements into test cases.•    Execute the test cases based on the plan and test documents.•    Reporting defects and bugs tracking.•    Document test results and assist in the defect management.•    Review and update test cases•    Construct and prepare test data sets.•    Update the execution status according to the results.•    Retest defects when they are resolved.•    Execute regression suites.•    Participate in the team initiatives.•    Continuous communication of work progress through attendance of daily & weekly meetings.Core Knowledge and qualifications•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or any related technical field.•    Very good understanding of theories and procedures about Software Testing.•    Excellent command of English language is a must.•    Basic Knowledge on Java is a plus.•    Basic Knowledge on SQL is a plus.•    Basic knowledge about ISTQB foundation in software testing is a must.•    ISTQB Foundation Level Certificate in Software Testing is a Plus.•    Agile testing knowledge is a plus.•    High sense of ownership and responsibility.•    Ability to identify and explore new testing frameworks.•    Ability to excel in a cross functional team environment.•    Working experience in dealing with test management tools is plusi.    HP ALMii.    JIRA#_VOIS#WeMoveTheWorld#MoveWithUs
