Mechanical/Electrical Engineering graduate or HND
Experience and Profile
Exposure to a multinational company preferably in food and/or exposure to an FMCG Company
Someone around 30-40 years old
Should be able to handle the following: Materials Management, Import/Export Documents, Supply Planning, Warehouse Management, Procurement
Primary Responsibilities
Control and Cut Spending on Procurement Costs
Perform Risk Management for Supply Contracts and Agreements
Crisis Management if a part of the supply chain has not performed
Collaborate with upper-level management to be in line with company objectives and values
Develop Productive sourcing strategies
Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
Examine and test existing contracts
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness
Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
