Travel Specialist

Objectives:Determining clients' needs and suggesting suitable travel packagesOrganizing travels from beginning to end,including tickets, accommodation and transportationSupplying travellers with pertinent informationand useful travel/holiday materialsPromote sales & profit goalsResponsibilities:Research,explore and study different travel destination optionsResearchdestination and travel prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews etc.Research and study clients' specifications andwishesPlan and sell transportations, accommodations,insurance and other travel servicesCooperate with clients to determine their needsand advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, traveldates, costs and accommodationsProvide relevant information, brochures andpublications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc) totravellersBook transportation, make hotel reservations andcollect payment/feesUse promotional techniques and preparepromotional materials to sell itinerary tour packagesDeal with occurring travel problems, complaintsor refundsAttend travel seminars to remain updated withtourism trendsEnter data into our software and maintain clientfilesMaintain relationships with key personsNetwork with tour operatorsMaintain statistical and financial recordsMeetprofit and sales targetsRequirements:3 years of experience as a Travel Agent orsimilar roleDiploma/BA in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business orsimilar relevant fieldKnowledgeable about travel, tourism, offers& its trendsGood knowledge of travel softwareGood sales and presentation skillsCritical thinker and problem solverMultitasking and time-management skills, withthe ability to prioritize tasks.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Professional attitude and appearance.Solidwritten and verbal communication skills.Work Type:Hybrid Job (minimum of 3 physical work days per week)Remuneration: NGN100,000 - 150,000 per month.
