Warehouse Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION:•Establish standard and emerging operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing and shipping of products•Plan, develop and implement warehouse safety, security programs and protocols•Review work orders, commodities reports, and demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods.•Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results•Manage and supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing and shipping of products•Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement Schedule pickup, delivery or distribution of products•Provide all required documents and reports in a timely manner•Perform other job-related duties as and when necessaryJOB REQUIREMENTS:•Bachelor's Degree in related field with minimum 3 years' experience in commodities business. Supply Chain management is highly desired.•Ability to lead, train and mentor other employees•Must be result oriented•Good communication and management skills•Problem solving skills•Proficient use of Microsoft office•Excellent leadership and organizational skills•Ability to use a moisture meter•Willingness to travel domestically (up to 50%)SALARY: 70,000Suitable candidates must be based within Ogbomosho/surrounding environment or be willing to relocate immediately.
