Junior Interior Architect

Responsibilities:Works with clients to determine initial goals and requirements for the space to be designed.Analyzes movement and use patterns of the space.Creating initial design sketches, color themes, and ideas based on client requirements and space availability.Produce sample boards and mood boards to demonstrate preliminary designs to clients.Consult with clients to select materials, furnishings, and décor pieces.Uses design applications to prepare and illustrate final plans.Use of necessary materials, adhering to project and budget specifications.Oversees the installation of materials, furniture, and other design elements.Maintains current knowledge of trends and materials, techniques, and other developments in interior design.Performs other related duties as assigned.Inspect design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met.Requirements:The Ideal candidate must have 3 - 5 years of related experience working in an interior. Must be able to distinguish between colors.Interior design certification is highly preferred.Must have passion for business and closing of sales. Coursework in computer-aided design (CAD) is highly preferred.
