Outside Plant Supervisor ( Osp Supervisor)

Requirements:University degree in Telecoms, Engineering or Applied Sciences.Proven track records of maintenance and management of metro/ long distance fibre optic infrastructureSound knowledge of Telecom industry best practices, norm and technical requirements with regards to fibre & civil work maintenanceFTTX / P2P fibre deployment and maintenance experience are distinct advantages eg. Fibre termination using fusion splice machines, testing & analyzing fibre link with OTDR and light source power metersIdentifying fibre cores with VFLS,Capable of understanding fibre network architecture, designs and splice planFamiliar with the requirements of health &safety legislation in NigeriaExperience in civil works supervision & quality controlExperience in processing ROW License with local authorities/ state regulatory agenciesUser experience for Microsoft Office tools Including a good working knowledge of Microsoft projectUser experience for Viso/ Autocad/ GIS tools is desiredExcellent communication skillsAbility to solve complex problems in the shortest available time using honed analytical skillsGood interpersonal skills with customers, vendors, team members and local community..Experience At least 3 years in the telecommunications industry with experience in fiber network deployment and outside plant maintenance.Specific knowledge of civil works planning applications with Nigerian local authoritiesLocation:Port HarcourtRemuneration: NGN221,000 gross
