Responsibilities:Overall program management: The Team Leader will lead successfulimplementation throughout the project lifecycle for all aspects includingtechnical implementation, financial and administrative compliance, andoversight and supervision of project staff. The Team Leader is responsible for deliveringresults with a high standard of excellence, achieving its set goals and targetswithin the budget, liaising with national stakeholders, and ensuring sufficientcommunication and reporting back to the donors.Asuccessful Team Leader will integrate adaptive management and iterativelearning as needed, define and implement the program's indicators of success,develop teams' capacity, and grow the culture of using routine monitoring datato continuously improve, and demonstrate accountability to our stakeholders.Specificduties will include:Program Leadership & Management, including financial oversight, compliance, and team management (70% of the time)Oversee the leadership and successful implementation of the individual-donor-funded menstrual health initiativeLead program work planning and reporting in line with PSI requirements (regular progress and financial reports, etc.)Ensure the effective use and coordination of project resources and the compliance of the financial systems and controls with established standards.Ensure sound financial management, including programmatic budgeting, pending projections, and monitoring of payments.Develop and manage a team that includes diverse backgrounds/expertise to deliver project results, including policy and market development objectives, in such a way that team members feel valued and have ongoing capacity buildingThought Leadership and External Representation (30% of the time)Facilitate senior-level policy and dialogue with government officials, relevant ministries, partners, and stakeholders to ensure buy-in and achieve progress in policy objectivesRepresent project progress and serve as an expert on menstrual health technical issues in global platforms such as Menstrual Hygiene Day and moreServe as a key point of contact/representative of the project to current and prospective funders, working in collaboration with designated PSI fundraising staff.Time percentages listed above are not exact.They are estimates and may change. PSI reserves the right to revisejob profiles at any time based on changes to the required job responsibilities.Requirements:Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and at least 8 yearsof project management experienceMaster's Degree (in Public Health, Project Management, or other relevantareas) preferredDemonstrated experience in developing and managing relationshipswith government andother stakeholdersTechnical knowledge of design and delivery of gender-sensitiveprogramming with specific knowledge of adolescent girls/young women and menstrualhealthExpertise or knowledge of market development approaches and/oreconomic empowerment initiatives preferredExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills Proficiency in the use of Microsoft suiteLanguageskills: Fluent English is essentialAbilityto travel locally up to 40%; some international travel may be requiredReferenceswill be requiredThesuccessful candidate will be required to pass a background checkThe candidate we hire will embody PSI'scorporate values:Measurement:You use hard evidence to make decisions andguide your work.
