Job Details Location: Victoria Island, LagosJob TasksAs a member of the Systems Engineering Team in the desktop/system support unit, you will be expected to perform the following function:Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure including printers & photocopiersProvide supports for network usersInstall, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management toolsSetup and manage the messaging and collaborating system for enterprise useProactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availabilityMonitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with developersvendors to implement those fixesMaintain security, backup, and redundancy strategiesProvide 2nd level support for Microsoft Exchange usersLiaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolutionJob RequirementsDegree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or any related fieldCertificate in Networking (Cisco CCNA, CCNP etc), Microsoft Certification (MCITP) etcHands-on experience in computer systems installation, maintenance and troubleshootingHands-on experience in managing active directory domain servicesHands-on experience on various Microsoft Windows operating systemsHands-on experience in managing Microsoft exchange serversAt least 2 years related experienceGood knowledge of data networkExcellent written, presentation and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical and presentation skills with attention to detailExcellent team working skillsAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to juggle conflicting priorities and multi-taskAbility to deliver tasks with a very tight deadline.
